You automatically open a share savings account when you become a member.  Your minimum opening deposit of $5.00 goes directly into this account and you will earn competitive dividends/interest paid quarterly.  You'll find saving is easy with payroll deduction, ACH, deposit by mail, or "In person".

Minimal fees will apply for copies of drafts, stop payments, overdraft transfer fees, return items, etc. 

For when just a savings account won’t do, OCTFCU has other rewarding ways for you to invest your money.

  • Term Share/Certificates – Term Share/certificates are a simple way to put some money aside. How long you have your certificate determines how much interest you’ll make. 

  • IRA – Investing with an Individual Retirement Account, or IRA, is not only a great way to save for your retirement, but you’ll get some great tax advantages as well. We have several IRAs to choose from.* 


Share Certificates provide a safe way to save for the future whether you have short or long term needs.  Certificates are available for a minimum of $1000.00 with rates on various terms.  Terms are from 31 days out to 30 months.

EARLY WITHDRAWAL PENALTY: If the maturity of a share certificate is one year or less, the forfeiture is equal to 90 days dividends. If the maturity of a share certificate is more than one year, the forfeiture is equal to 180 days dividends. 


  • Minimum amount of $1000.00 to open account.
  • $5.00 monthly service fee if the balance drops below $1000.00
  • Obtain unlimited "in person" withdrawals
  • Use 24 hour audio response and home banking for unlimited transactions.
  • Dividend rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time as determined by the board of directors.
  • Dividends are compounded and credited monthly

Must be 55 years of age or older and have Direct Deposit with Okaloosa County Teachers FCU. Small Buisness Accounts are not eligible. Benefits to having Golden Advantage are:
